The Story Behind the Craft

A lifetime dedicated to the craft.

Based in the historic town of Litomyšl, Czech Republic, Jaromir Brokes has spent decades preserving the tradition of handcrafted ceramics.

He began working in ceramics in 1975 at a factory founded in 1939, gaining decades of hands-on experience in traditional production.

After the political changes of 1989, Jaromir and his wife, Jirini, purchased the workshop and rebuilt it as a family-owned company. Today, he leads a skilled team in a purpose-built facility, creating handcrafted ceramics using time-honored techniques and carefully mastered glazes.

Deeply rooted in Czech heritage, his work reflects generations of knowledge, precision, and pride in authentic, high-quality ceramics.
